Dr. Doug LeMay

Dr. LeMay was raised a short distance from the Minnesota State Fair Grounds and has lived in the same neighborhood since 1964. He is the proud father of three boys, Brian, Ben and Brandon. His wife, Lisa is an ICU nurse at Fairview University Hospital. Dr. LeMay graduated from the University Veterinary College in 1987, and has practiced in the Twin Cities since then. He established the Family Animal Hospital in 1993. Dr. LeMay is currently a Clinical Instructor in the Small Animal Clinical Sciences Department at the University of Minnesota. Dr. LeMay is also a retired officer of the Falcon Heights Fire Department.

Janine Norling - Veterinary Technician and Hospital Manager

Janine is a 1980 graduate of the Medical Institute of Minnesota. Upon graduation she worked at the Animal Emergency Clinic. From there Janine continued working as a veterinary technician in small animal practices and eventually began managing clinics and staff. She has been with the Family Animal Hospital since it opened in 1993. Janine lives in Coon Rapids with her husband Tim, sons, Blayne, Justin and Sammy,and Bea, a poodle-terrier mix, and Penny, a Duck Troller Hunting Dog.

Amy Pawlik - Professional Groomer

Amy started her career in Iowa as an apprentice to a Certified Licensed Groomer. After moving to Minnesota, Amy worked as a mobile groomer in the Twin Cities. To refresh and update her skills, Amy attended Anoka Tech Grooming School and graduated, in 1993, at the top of her class. She has been with the Family Animal Hospital since it opened in 1993. Amy lives in Moundsview with her sons - Larry and Lorenzo, 3 cats, and 1 dog. "Kiska" and "Hannah" are her assistants at work. Her goal is to make every pet look their best and to help owners keep them that way at home.
